It's certainly hard to bet against the likes of NCAA Champ Delgado and 2x finalist Megaludis, but Garrett just may be the guy here to take it all.
Garrett has beat Mega
Mega has beaten Delgado
Delgado just squeaked out a BIG 10 finals win against Mega
Clark, if on, is a serious title contender but has to be extremely careful with the dangerous Mines in the opening round. Actually, for Clark to pull off a magical run, he'd have to go through Mines, Cox, Delgado, Peters/Martinez, and Mega/Garrett. All while managing his weight for three days. It can be done but he has to be on his "A" game and then some.
Garrett will have to go through Taylor in the quarters, who is always dangerous, and Megaludis in the semi's. We're taking Garrett on the pure fact of how cool and calm he stays the entire match. We've finally seen some emotion out of Mega in the BIG 10 finals(which is rare for any Cael guy that isn't David Taylor) that could give him an edge as he has watch the title just miss him for two years running.
Overall, we see it as a three man race between Delgado, Megaludis, and Garrett, but don't overlook the dangerous Dylan Peters. Coach Schwab will certainly have him firing on all cylinders.
OWN Prediction: Nashon Garrett, Cornell
Other Brackets: 133 / 141 / 149 / 157 / 165 / 174 / 184 / 197
