University of Michigan
Big road trip this weekend as they wrestle Iowa at Carver Hawkeye Arena on Friday, and then they are in Madison on Sunday to wrestle the Wisconsin Badgers. The Wolverines dropped their last two duals to the top-2 teams in the country, but they look to bounce back with two B1G wins this weekend.
Iowa has struggled by their standards this year, dropping duals to Iowa State and Minnesota, as well as the top-2 teams in the country in Penn State and Ohio State. Michigan won the most recent matchup two years ago in Ann Arbor, but they have not won in Iowa City since 2018 when Kevin Beazley and Adam Coon closed out the dual with back-to-back decisions as Michigan beat Iowa 19-17. If Angelo Ferrari is back for the Hawkeyes, it could shake up the entire dual, but he has been out for quite some time. We look the Wolverines to pull off the upset this Friday.
Against Wisconsin, Michigan is the favorite in 6 matches, although Wisconsin has been down as of late, and the Wolverines could pick up more than those 6 wins. The match of the dual will be at heavyweight, as Braxton Amos has seen world-level success but has not yet reached the podium at NCAAs, and Ghadiali is looking to All American for the second time this year.

The Spartans have one home dual and one away dual this weekend. On Friday, MSU will host Rutgers at Jenison Fieldhouse. On Sunday, they will travel to Minneapolis to take on the Golden Gophers.
Rutgers features a lineup with all 10 wrestlers included in the national rankings, making for a very complete dual team. The match to watch in that dual will be #23 Wisler against his former teammate #16 Remy Cotton, who is now a Scarlet Knight.
Against Minnesota, we are looking forward to seeing a battle of NCAA qualifiers at 133lbs. Caleb Weiand was a qualifier last year at 125lbs, and he will be seeing former Michigan Wolverine Chris Cannon at 133lbs on Sunday.

The Chippewas are coming off a huge win against an up-and-coming SIUE team and will look to keep that momentum in home duals against Kent State and George Mason this weekend.
Kent State is coming off a big win against in-state rival Ohio, but this will be a good opportunity for Central to pick up another MAC win. Tyler Swiderski is back for CMU, which is a huge addition at 174lbs. CMU should have too solid of a lineup for Kent State.
George Mason has a very solid lineup, especially through the middle weights. They have 4 ranked wrestlers from 149 through 184. Our match of the dual will be #23 Shrader against #21 McGee, a match that CMU may need to win to take the dual.
