Division 2

Analysis: Lowell was dominant while still getting a few starters some rest in the quarterfinals. New Boston Huron was impressive against Linden, but they are taking on a new beast in the 12x defending state champs. We can see NBH winning 106 and 126 or 132, but any other wins are going to be tough to come by.

Prediction: Lowell +40

Analysis: This is a sneaky good dual. Eaton Rapids was very impressive in an upset win over Algonac, and Three Rivers took care of business against a tough Freeland team. The way Eaton Rapids wrestled in the quarterfinals, there are 7 winnable matches for them. The problem is, Three Rivers is going to be picking up bonus points with pinners like Faile and Smith. The Greyhounds will make it interesting, but Three Rivers should have too much firepower in this one.

Prediction: Three Rivers +12

Division 3

Analysis: Lakewood had a huge win over Montrose in the quarterfinals, which was most likely their main goal coming into the weekend. Outside of that, they’ll be looking to win a few matches against Dundee. The two main matches to keep an eye on are at 106 and 165. Sindone and Harmer could be a preview of a big match at Ford Field next weekend, and we may see Boucher bump up to 165 to wrestle Lane as opposed to taking his chances against Cosby. Those will be the matches of the dual, while Dundee will roll!

Prediction: Dundee +56

Analysis: This is a true toss up dual. We see this dual being a potential split in matches 7-7, and bonus points seem to be pretty even. The toss may play a big part in this dual, where Yale should control the first half of the lineup, and Whitehall should pick up some ground in the second half. No matter who Krukowski wrestles, he may be our match of the dual, as Whitehall will be in a great spot if he can pick up a win over Sopha or McClelland. We are riding with Whitehall to prevail, although this is a flip of the coin.

Prediction: Whitehall +1
