Your #1 Source for Everything Wrestling in Georgia!

The Peach State has a long standing history at Super 32 where they’ve podiumed over 110 individuals in the HS Boys division since the tournament started back in 2000. The very first Super 32 All-American for Georgia was Jeremiah Clapp (Woodland), when he captured 3rd place honors at 171 lbs back in 2004.

There are a ton of studs that are slated to compete in Greensboro, NC the weekend of October 18-19 as Georgia looks to crown their first Super 32 champ since Chase Horne in 2021.

Best Bets to Podium

Ariah Mills (Athens Christian), 106lbs
Only an incoming freshman, Mills is fresh off a U17 World Gold Medal and just recently ran the gauntlet at the Grappler Fall Classic where he captured gold medal honors. Mills is rightfully ranked first in the nation at 106lbs and comes in seeded first in the tournament. Ariah’s biggest competitor will be Keegan Bassett, who also won a U17 World Gold Medal this year as well. World Champions collide this weekend at Super 32!

Cody Clarke (Buford), 113lbs
Clarke is also an incoming freshman and is fresh off a Grappler Fall Classic championship where he knocked off National Prep Champion Liam Davis in the semifinals 4-0. Davis has been ranked as high as 5th in the country, and placed at Fargo in the Junior Freestyle division. Clarke also outplaced Cooper Merli (NY) who has captured two state titles in New York and previously beat Dunia Sibomana (Fargo National Champ and Super 32 All-American), in addition to outplacing former 2x Fargo All-American Layne Martin of Michigan. Clarke is no stranger to Super 32 as he captured a Middle School belt last year. He will enter the tournament as the #5 seed.

Antonio Mills (Athens Christian), 126lbs
Another no-brainer pick as Mills is currently the top dog at 126lbs after he won a loaded Fargo bracket in Junior Freestyle this year. Mills finished with runner-up honors in Vegas and won NHSCA Junior Nationals in the spring. Mills is no stranger to the big stage as he made the finals of Super 32 a year ago, and looks primed to make a final run at the top of the podium in Greensboro Coliseum. Per usual, 126lbs is a monster bracket at Super 32 and Mills will face stiff competition in the likes of Paul Kenny and Freddy Bachmann as he looks to be the first Super 32 champ from Georgia since 2021.

Ronan An (North Cobb), 215lbs
The junior out of North Cobb HS comes in as the #4 seed and is currently ranked 8th in the country by MatScouts. Ronan has had quite the off-season; after capturing a state title this year he then won NHSCA Sophomore Nationals before placing 4th in Vegas. He would then go on to place in the Junior Freestyle division of Fargo where he landed 8th on the podium. As he’s currently the 4th seed, he will likely see Aidan Cooley (TX) in the quarterfinals, Max Konopka (CT) in the semifinals, and a combination of Cooper Roscosky (PA), Kal-El Fluckiger (AZ), or Cash Colbert (VA) in the finals.

Ryder Wilder (Camden County), 190lbs
Wilder has a strong chance to win Super 32 Wrestling thanks to his proven track record and upward momentum. A 2024 Super 32 All-American and third-place finisher at 190 lbs, Wilder has already shown he can battle through one of the toughest brackets in the country, defeating top national talent like Levi Bussey in sudden victory. Ranked among the top wrestlers in his weight class nationwide, he brings valuable experience, composure, and motivation to improve on last year’s podium finish. With his blend of toughness, skill, and familiarity with high-pressure tournaments, Wilder has all the tools to capture the Super 32 title this year.
