ZEELAND, MI NATIVE COMPETING AT FILA VETERAN GRECO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jeff Anderson, a native of Zeeland, Michigan, will be competing in the 2014 FILA Veteran Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. The event will take place August 26-31.
Anderson is unique in the fact that he has been a respected member of the wrestling community for years, and at age 48 still has a passion for sport on all levels.
Anderson is an assistant coach at Myrmidon Training Systems in southwest Michigan, as well as a coach at Grand Valley State University.
This is not his first trip to Europe, as he placed fifth in last years event. He also won the USAW Veteran Greco-Roman Nationals in Las Vegas back in April, which qualified him for this event.
