Biggest Duals to Watch
D2 #3 Fowlerville vs D2 #4 Mason

Outlook: Fowlerville won this one last week in the conference dual by a score of 37-27. The biggest match was Hodge over Ausel, who was up to 150. Other than that, there weren’t any big surprises necessarily, just Fowlerville winning the matches they needed and picking up the bonus points they needed. It will be very interesting to see how Mason weighs in for this one and tries to bump some guys around. Fowlerville is likely favored down low and up top, while Mason needs to find the bulk of their points between 132 and 165. Mason might try to get Vankirk on Foster at 175 again, as Vankirk won that match last time by fall. This dual truly is a toss up, with bonus points probably deciding what could be a 7-7 split.
Prediction: Fowlerville +1
D2 #7 Bay City John Glenn vs D2 #8 Freeland

Outlook: Another great first round matchup we recently saw. BCJG won this dual 38-34 last month. This dual could look drastically different this time around, maybe not by score, but with a lot of different matchups. Freeland may keep Rosebush at 106 this time for a big top 10 showdown. Greer pinned Hill last time around, and we hope we get to see that match again. The biggest difference in the lineups since last time is the addition of state placer Hillborn, who is back in the lineup for John Glenn. No matter what, this dual could be another toss up, with some unranked matches up top potential deciding the dual.
Prediction: BCJG +1
D2 HM Greenville vs D2 HM Cedar Springs

Outlook: Doesn’t get much closer than the first two times these teams saw each other. CS won the conference dual 38-36 a month ago with bonus points for CS being the difference in a 7-7 split. Last week in the individual conference tournament, the two teams tied for 2nd behind #1 Lowell. This dual will be tough to predict, as a lot rides on the coin flip. If CS wins the flip this time, they can get Prins off Johnson, and potential swing another match. For Greenville, getting Eberspeaker off Parmeter also relies on the same flip. Winning the flip is more important for Greenville than CS, but either way, it could drastically change the look of this one.
Prediction: Cedar Springs +6
