steve, could you tell me why DCC dropped from #2 down to #4? What is your criteria on ranking the teams? strength of schedule or is it wins and loses?

I'll take that one. Lowell recently beat Brighton(justifying them jumping back up in the P15). Here are a couple of results that you may not have known of:
St. Johns over Hartland 36-23
Anchor Bay over Hartland 28-22
Brighton over Hartland 38-18
Hartland over Lowell 28-26
Lowell over DCC 39-22
DCC over Davison 34-30
Add the fact that both Davison and DCC beat Brecksville/lost to St. Eds at CC super duals, you get a very good view that the top 5 in D1 are all very close together both in state and probably nationally, which is reflected in the P15, too. CC lost to Brighton 40-21, too, unfortunately. CC didn't have Ty Moreland for that, which I'm sure everyone knows he's back by now, which doesn't make up for the deficit in the loss. But, there is a reason why the rocks are so good and perennially where they … Read More
You guys are being ridiculous. Making the rankings into a joke. If your team is really as good as you say they are, then you shouldn't need a ranking to tell you that.

ExACTly correct....SPOT on !!
Win or shut up....Thank you Tevin !!
Alan. If that is your real name, asking who St. Johns beat this week is like asking who did Lowell beat in the first full week of the year, 1/4/15-1/10/15 to maintain their spot at the top at that time. The answer is that they beat east grand rapids. And that is it. Your quarrel for giving Lowell the top spot is like arguing for Oxford to get it ;) Oxpop. Lowell lost to an instate team. That will cause them to drop. I'm wondering why you haven't used the, "Best Coaching Staff in the State" card … Read More

Just for the record, it wouldn't shock me in the slightest if Oxford ends up being a final 4 team...OxDad is 100% right to talk them up. They are capable of giving Anchor Bay a serious run at the Oakland/Macomb Duals, and even if they lose that dual they will go into BC as a dangerous #6 or #7 seed.
The rankings are based almost entirely off dual meets, and right now with their W's & L's it objectively doesn't make sense for them to be in the top 10...that being said, they are one of the elite … Read More
Steve - I would KILL for my Bride to utter those words "is 100% right" just once !!!!
Keep up the strong work and see you soon.
And who did st. Johns beat in the last week to maintain that spot owosso?

Unbelievable how does lowell beat #1 and #2 in division 1 and not go back to #1.these are 2 schools that are suppose to be able to kill us being a higher division. Unbelivable.

A) They beat #1 and #4 in Division 1
B) They began the season #1 in the Power 15, so nobody in all of Michigan is supposed to "kill" Lowell
C) St Johns is undefeated against in-state competition and beat Hartland, who Lowell lost to
