National Duals for 16U wrapped up over the weekend, with Team Michigan going 3-5 over the two days to finish 7th in the Bronze/Copper Pool. Team Michigan picked up wins over Arizona, Texas, and Maryland, and just narrowly missed out on two more wins against Minnesota and Washington. In both of those duals, Michigan dropped the final match of the dual while tied or ahead.
Grayson Fuchs had a standout performance, going a perfect 6-0 in Freestyle to add to his undefeated Greco performance. The DCC rising Sophomore earned a spot on the all-tournament team, which was well deserved after picking up a 4-0 win over 15U champ Eggum from Minnesota. Nick Sorrow (Hudson) and Eli Roe (Beaverton) also put together solid performances, with Sorrow going 5-1 and Roe going 6-2 on the weekend.
