Troy Spratley after his win to make the National Finals
Meyer Shapiro - Cornell is a family, not a factory
Troy Spratley knocks off former NCAA finalist, makes the semifinals
SESSION 4
The Friday night session at the NCAA tournament ends with four New York All-Americans (three of those being from Cornell). Troy Spratley, Norwich and Section IV native, ran the gauntlet today with wins over national finalist Matt Ramos and #3 seed Eddie Ventresca to make the national finals. After two years of knocking on the door, Stevo Poulin beat former All-American Dean Peterson to step onto the podium. Tommy Askey's junior campaign came to a close as he lost a heartbreaker to Bianchi in the blood round, falling short in tiebreakers.
