Session 2 Recap
The second session on Thursday was highlighted with Cornell advancing three of four to the quarterfinals tomorrow, and the Big Red now sit at 8th in the team race with 15 points. Both Poulin (125) and Askey (157) were in tight matches that came down to the wire while Shapiro (157) dominated his opponents en route to the quarters. There are still 24 wrestlers alive with ties to the Empire State.

At 125 lbs, Stevo Poulin (Shenendehowa HS, Northern Colorado) won his first match which sets up a Round of 16 matchup with Norwich native Troy Spratley (Oklahoma State).
