2A State Predictions

Before we move to the predictions for this week, lets take a look back and see how we did in our sectionals predictions.

Section A- Correctly predicted 11 of the 14 Section Champs, and 19 of the 28 Sectional Finalists. Correctly identified 70 of the 84 State Qualifiers from this section, 83%
Section B- Correctly predicted 8 of the 14 Section Champs and 15 of the 28 Sectional Finalists. Correctly identified 62 of the 84 State Qualifiers from this section, 74%

Only 34 of the 56 finalist isn't very good at all, and only 19 of the 28 Champs is only average. However correctly predicting 79% of the State Qualifiers is pretty good.

Overview: Could see a lot of craziness in this classification, as Section A appeared to be a little bit tougher and deeper than Section B. Because of that disparity, you could see a lot more rematches from last week in the Finals than some of the other classes. With that being said, the disparity between these two Sectionals wasn't near as bad as what we saw in a couple of the other classes (4A and 6A).

Team Race: Coming into the season Rockmart was the heavy favorite, and while they still should win by a comfortable margin, it may not be as dominant as some were thinking back in August. We should see a great 3 team battle for 2nd place between Toombs, Union Co, and Vidalia.
