Jordan Atienza of Livonia Franklin, fresh off his Division 1 State Title, has informed Michigan Grappler that he will be attending Central Michigan University next year and wrestling for Coach Tom Borelli and the Chippewas.
Atienza went 64-1 in his senior season with his lone loss coming up a weight to nationally ranked Jordan Cooks.
He cruised through the state tournament, including a 10-5 finals win over NHSCA Sr National Runner-Up Dakota Juarez.
