Catholic Central Invitational Recap

The 60th annual Catholic Central Invite is completed, and it was as tough as ever. 9 of Michigan's ranked teams were represented at the tournament, including the top team in three divisions, and the #1 team in 1A in Illinois was also in attendance. Individually, there were 56 wrestlers ranked in the top-3 of their weight classes, including 25 wrestlers ranked #1 in the state.

Detroit Catholic Central held a slim lead heading into the medal matches, where Dundee performed well enough to surpass the Shamrocks. D1 powers Clarkston and Davison finished 3rd and 4th, respectively, while Marian Central (Illinois) rounded out the top-5.
