The Grappler Elite League's 2nd Qualifier was held this weekend at Detroit Catholic Central. Many of the state's top Middle School wrestlers were in attendance, punching tickets to the GEL Finals next month on February 11th at Grand Valley State University.

The 3rd and final qualifier will be held in a few weeks at Lowell  on February 4th.  Click here to register for the GEL Lowell Qualifier. The only way to wrestle in the GEL Finals at Grand Valley is to place top 6 at the one of the three qualifiers. Any unqualified wrestlers will have to compete at Lowell on February 4th for a chance to wrestle in the League Finals at GVSU.

The Grappler Elite League is a one division league, open to 6th-8th graders (5th graders may petition in). To compete in the GEL wrestlers must be past state place winners from any of the state youth organizations (MYWAY, MMWA, MUSAW, NEMWA)
